Description

Royalty-free orchestral music giving a fairylike, magical atmosphere. The most prominent instruments are a music box, the string sections, including a violin section and a viola section, playing the main melody in thirds, which gives a very particular tone to this piece. It makes me think of certain film orchestrations of the 60s. This music is in the minor mode. It begins with the flutes and violins playing a series of arpeggiated chords; the first times are reinforced by chords played by the harp. A section of violins and a section of cellos plays the main melody. The violas play the same melody a third up.
