Auld Lang Syne : Royalty Free Music

Description

Royalty free Christmas music, better known in French-speaking countries by the name “Ce n’est qu’un au revoir”. “Auld Lang Syne” is a Scottish song whose title means something like “a long time ago.” This music is often used for New Year’s Day. It was rewritten by Robert Burns at the end of the 1790s, and was translated into French by Jacques Sevin in 1920. In the version I offer here, I have used a music box for the main melody, basses playing pizzicato, a viola and violin section, an oboe, and a piano.
