Ibn Arabi : Royalty Free Music

Description

Royalty free music with sounds that bring to mind music of the desert; a mixture of African rhythms and rhythmic structures typical of Mauritania and Mali. This genre of grooves, played here by cymbals and small improvised percussion, is found in all of sub-Saharan Africa and is an integral part of Tuareg rhythms. The two acoustic guitars play different roles; one participates in the rhythm section, with chords played in a rhythm much utilized in Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Mauritania, and Mali; the other guitar plays riffs and melodic units in a loop. This music will particularly suit images of the desert, the Tuareg, as well as to evoke spirituality, meditation, mysticism, and contemplation.
