Description

Short, dramatic music. First composed for a scene of a TV series, this music has been rearranged. In a rhythm close to that of Ravel's Bolero played on timpani, the violins play a melancholy melody made of a succession of half-steps. The horns and trombones mark the second beat, while the violas intervene in the first and third beats of each measure, which creates interesting rhythmic units. The music is very melancholy. A tension is sustained for the whole length of the piece. It will serve well for giving suspense or for supporting a dramatic aspect of a scene.
