The most famous Christmas song is, without a doubt, “Jingle Bells” (in French, “Tintez clochettes”). It was written in 1857 by the American James Pierpot. This song was adapted and immortalized in its French version under the name “Vive le vent” by Francis Blanche. Jingle Bells was adapted into numerous languages and was arranged in styles as diverse as classical, jazz, and techno.
