Description

Contemplative, nostalgic music, evoking large spaces, mystery, solitude, sadness.... This music is played on the duduk, a sort of Armenian oboe, with its characteristic use in traditional Armenian music and in certain tzigane traditions. A drone created by a bagpipe continues the basis of the sound, and sustains the melodies played by the duduk.
