Description

Royalty free Christmas music. “What child is this” is one of the songs most associated with the celebration of Christmas. Composed in 1865 by the Englishman William Chatterton Dix at the age of 29. They say that William Chatterton had a near-death experience, and was so sick that he didn’t leave his bed for several months, which plunged him into a deep depression. During this period, William wrote several traditional English pices; one of his compositions was renamed “What child is this” and became associated with Christmas.
