Akenathon : Royalty Free Music

Description

Piano music written in 2001 and recorded several years later. A composition based on a jazz-style improvisation and in piano contemporary composition styles. It is written in modes and scales that offer dissonant harmonies and in free rhythmic patterns. It will particularly illustrate losing one‘s way, mystery, and perplexity..
It begins with a strange ambiance and an uncertain feeling, a lot of hesitations and continually returning to the main theme, and leaving it without a real distinction between the improvisation and the main theme.
There is a continuous tension in the harmony, and sometimes there is a short resolution to the minor mode, before returning to the dissonant harmonies.. I don't know why I called this composition Akenathon!!
